My Call to Children's Ministry

When I was first called to serve in children's ministry in 1986, I was a brand new believer. I was so nervous when I taught the children that very first Sunday. I had never before read any of the bible stories and was worried that the children may know more than me. I would read the word and prepare my lessons and I realized how much I loved the word. I was learning the word right alongside of the 1st graders that I was teaching. I cherish the memories of those early days, as I would discover the goodness of God with every word that I read.
